On July 13th, 2020, the Washington NFL franchise, formerly known as the Washington Redskins, announced that it would be changing the team's name. The name change came after the team faced increased pressure to change its name due to its racist connotations.
On July 23rd, it officially changed its name to the Washington Football Team, remaining in place pending adoption of a new team name.
An answer will be valid despite changes to punctuation or spacing. i.e. The question will resolve to "Washington Redtails" if the new name is announced as "Washington Red Tails", "Washington RedTails", "Washington Redtail's", etc.
